The website Couchsurfing lets you connect with people around the world who will let you stay with them for free. They will give you a bed, a couch, or just some space but it’s a lot better than staying at a hotel and you get to make a friend. I found using couchsurfing was really easy too. All you had to do was sign up, upload a picture and answer a few questions. Almost everyone I emailed replied back to me even if it was just to say they couldn’t host me at the time. I found the service to be really good if you are looking for free digs.
