You know what is the latest trend nowadays? Miniature servings. I have seen these mini cakes in a cake shop recently right beside their regularly sized counterparts. This got me thinking of what other mini-products have been sold as well. Go into a supermarket and you will see mini deodorants, shampoos, cookies and single serve sachets of condiments. In a department store, you can find single cup coffee Maker, mini-ovens, scented and personalized mini-candles, even miniature bottles of wine to give as gifts. I guess going “mini” while going global is a good marketing strategy for businesses, and the products look cute as well.
