Bosch Clean Diesel Performance Technology
Bosch’s clean diesel performance technology recently has powered an endurance race car to four victories. The Audi R10 TDI is the first clean diesel powered race car to win on the track. The same clean diesel technology that is being used in the Audi is already available for consumers for the road. When compared to gasoline vehicles, clean diesels provide a number of benefits to consumers, including: an average increase in fuel economy of 30 percent; a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions by up to 25 percent; and, up to 50 percent increase in torque.
