When looking at sports and competition in the NFL, there is only one team for me, and that is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I guess that is because my husband’s family was all from Pittsburgh. When we got married, I didn’t have a favorite team. As far as that goes, I wasn’t even watching football at the time! Now, even though we have been separated for quite a while, I still watch the Steelers play as does my daughter and sister. My Mom never missed them when she was alive. Who knows, maybe she is still watching them! You have to love those football fanatics.

The 1980’s was the decade that saw the rise of big business, and for the corporate executives nothing symbolized success like his closet full of custom suits. During this time was when the term power suit was coined. The power suit was the dark navy suit, usually double breasted, worn in conjunction with a strong red or gold tie. It would have strong shoulders that were almost imposing and lapels that were wider than the standard.This was the proper uniform for big time CEO’s and stock traders alike, and symbolized all the excess that the 80’s was all about. Most of them would have closets full of almost identical suits. Today the style is making a comeback as more and more people are trying to emulate the look of success that we shied away from in the 90’s.

If you were planning to fly to Bombay in the near future, you would be well advised to change your travel plans. I have been “unemployed” since I left my job in 2004. The best thing about it is I did a lot of surfing in the beginning looking for the perfect biz opp and I have managed to find several things I feel I am good at, that I can make a few bucks at. I have remained home working since 2004 and have been successful enough to pay the bills. I have not gotten rich, and I don’t make money while I’m sleeping. I do, however, make enough money to survive, and for most of us, this is a good thing. I never set out to get rich, so I feel I have reached my goal and surpassed it.

After topping out against the US dollar the Euro has declined in response to the widening of the worldwide economic crisis. Prior to this, European residents enjoyed greater US purchasing power which fed through to prominent shopping districts such as New York. Some claim that the Euro currency exchange rate is still overvalued whilst others argue that it is a potential replacement as the world’s reserve currency. Economic powers outside of the United States have held discussions on potential trade replacements to diversify currency holdings. Time will tell as to whether the US dollar retains its status as the world’s reserve currency.

I’m the type of guy that has to know absolutely everything before doing anything. Sometimes it gets ridiculous (like the time I did a 2 day research on the new Windows Update that was offered), but that’s just the way I am and it has worked out pretty well for me. The same thing happened when I decided to start downloading games for psp. I followed the advice on this blog and I’m glad that I did. I was able to save a ton of time and money.
